1. SYSTEMAIR

Systemair has made high-quality ventilation products its priority ever since it was founded in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden in 1974. The product range includes air distribution and fire safety products, air handling units and fans.1 It entered India in 20062 and since, has quickly expanded its sales offices to nine cities with two manufacturing units in Noida and Hyderabad. With a clear focus on usability and energy efficiency, Systemair products set the right example for Make in India.

2. GISLEN SOFTWARE INDIA

Founded by Swedish entrepreneur Mikael Gislen in 1994, Gislen Software expanded its Indian offices in 1998.3 With a team of highly skilled developers in Chennai, Gislen Software provides IT solutions to clients across the globe with an emphasis on the Nordic & the UK markets. In 2015, it was awarded the Best Services Exporter (Micro) and Best Overall Exporter (Micro) at the Indian Exporters Excellence Awards by Dun & Bradstreet.4

3. CAMFIL

Camfil is a leading manufacturer of premium clean air solutions, that provides commercial and industrial systems for air filtration and air pollution control. It was founded in 1963, with the sole aim of protecting people from bad air.5 This helps improve worker and equipment productivity, minimize energy use and benefit human health and the environment.6 Camfil began manufacturing in India in 2010 in Trichy, India.7 In a short span of 9 years, Camfil has served clients such as Pepsico, GSK, Pfizer.8

4. CLEAN MOTION

Cleanmotion, a Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer, launched its first product, Zbee, in 2016 in New Delhi to solve the ‘first mile/last mile connectivity problem.Zbee connects fixed points such as metro stations to malls, colleges, hospitals, markets and other key congregation points.10 Having partnered with construction giant DLF11, Zbee intends to enter various Indian Smart Cities as a feeder network to promote public transport in smart cities.12

5. NATURELLEMENT

Naturellement was set up in 1991, by Martina Ljungquist.13 The company’s mission is to empower women from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them meaningful work and engaging them in socially responsible and fair trade practices. Naturellement is also used as a platform for social good, which provides the women-only staff help and support in economic, health and family matters as well as nutritional lunches, English classes and study and recreational tours.14 Naturallement’s product range includes jams and jellies,  condiments, pickles and chutneys, etc.15
